Ultra-premium blend, made with fresh Brazilian sugar cane juice, blended with molasses-based rum from the West Indies and Central America. Rum is generally produced from molasses distillate or pure sugar cane juice. This blend is the combination of the two types, for a result worthy of the name Santos Dumont.

Tasting Notes: Pink Baltic amber colour. Leather nose and apricots immediately rise to the nose, followed by soft notes of tobacco. Mouth ripe apricots and coconuts sweetened with demerara sugar and a touch of citrus, followed by notes of mocha and cocoa. Wonderfully soft and complex final finish. Ripe tropical fruits in great harmony with notes of cocoa and tobacco.
 
The Distillery: Produced in small batches, Santos Dumont Heritage is truly an Ultra Premium blend. It is made from fresh Brazilian sugarcane juice blended with molasses-based rum from the West Indies and Central America. Most rum producers choose to make rum distilled from molasses or rum from pure sugarcane juice. Santos Dumont chooses, like few others, to bring the two types of rum together in a way that can only be described as Santos Dumont. Santos Dumont was a nobleman, world-famous aviation pioneer and style icon, heir to a wealthy family known as "the coffee kings of Brazil". Rum and cachaça were distilled from cane sugar grown on the family plantation.
