The search for products is very scrupulous because they have to meet very high quality standards. Great attention is paid to preservation: the products are kept in the dark, preventing them from coming into contact with natural or artificial light. Optimal humidity and temperature are controlled by natural processes, and all still wines are placed on one side to prevent air from penetrating inside and oxidizing the contents. We only choose products made in an eco-sustainable way and without the exploitation of animals or environmental resources; the packaging is re-usable or comes from sustainable sources. By purchasing at Cantina Sabauda you contribute to keeping small artisan businesses and tradition alive. We appeal to connoisseurs, enthusiasts and newcomers united by a passion for quality and above all by the curiosity to discover new things.
Purchases on Cantina Sabauda are reserved exclusively for Italian citizens who have reached the age of 18. The purchaser of foreign nationality can purchase on Cantina Sabauda only if he/she has reached the age of majority according to his/her national law. If there is no legislation in this respect, he/she must be over 21 years of age.
In order to respect the environment and nature, we have chosen to use only electronic invoices. The invoices will be sent to the e-mail or PEC address you have provided to Cantina Sabauda. To receive a copy of the invoice, please contact Cantina Sabauda at info@cantinasabauda.com with the subject line "Invoice Request Order No.."
After the order has been placed and shipped or after three hours of purchase, it is no longer possible to cancel it. For problems related to the purchase phase, please contact us at info@cantinasabauda.com and describe briefly what happened with the subject line "Order no..".
Cantina Sabauda is constantly looking for vintage bottles to place in its Cantina. To sell, receive conditions or information about the sales account, contact Cantina Sabauda at info@cantinasabauda.com with the subject "Vintage Bottles".
Once your account is closed, it will no longer be accessible to you or anyone else; you will no longer be able to access your order history or print a proof of purchase or invoice. This will also apply to any related accounts, products and services that you access through your email address and password on all Cantina Sabauda websites.
Closing your account permanently means you won't have access
products and services associated with your closed account, including:
• Your customer profile, including, reviews, chat posts, returns and refunds on orders
• Your Affiliate Programme account and all your Sabaude Lire
• Display of the order history and the sending of complaints according to the warranty of Cantina Sabauda.
• Purchases made using Cantina Sabauda, which have not yet been invoiced and are not completed before the Cantina Sabauda account is closed, may still be charged based on the Seller's shipping time.
• You will not be able to spend the remaining balance of the Coupons or Lire Sabaude.
• You can check your remaining balance from your account. You will no longer be able to use other Coupons or Lire Sabaude Cantina Sabauda.
• Coupons or Lire Sabaude that you have sent to other customers will still be usable from their accounts.
Note: Following the closure of your account, some information may be retained based on our ratings. We generally consider that we retain certain data, in accordance with our legal obligations, including those deriving from the Italian Commercial Code, for the purpose of ascertaining, exercising or defending rights, to prevent fraud and to guarantee the security of systems, as provided for by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For these purposes, we usually store business transaction data relating to customer orders for products and services, such as customer name, product ordered, date of order, shipping address, method of payment, price and VAT. After the account has been closed, we may also retain certain personal data relating to the account for the purposes of managing these rights and fulfilling the obligations set out above.
Smishing scams are becoming more and more advanced: fraudulent messages can be embedded in a thread of legitimate messages you may have received from Cantina Sabauda. If you receive a suspicious SMS claiming to be from Cantina Sabauda (sometimes called smishing), here are some things to check:
• Scam texts often state that there is a problem with your account, ask for sensitive information such as passwords or state that you are owed a refund. Cantina Sabauda will never ask for your password or personal information via SMS.
• Cantina Sabauda will never ask you for your personal information or to make a payment outside of our website (e.g. by bank transfer, by email with credit card details and so on) and will never ask you for remote access to your device, e.g. by asking you to install an app.
If you receive a suspicious call claiming to be from Cantina Sabauda, here are some things to check:
• Under no circumstances will Cantina Sabauda ask you for a payment or offer you a refund that you do not expect by asking you for bank information.
• Cantina Sabauda will never ask you to make a payment outside of our website (e.g. by bank transfer, by email with credit card details, sharing Coupon details by phone, etc.)
• Cantina Sabauda will never ask for remote access to your device, for example by asking you to install an app.

Spoof or phishing emails are fraudulent emails that attempt to get your personal information. Usually, they are written to appear to come from Cantina Sabauda. If you receive an email claiming to come from Cantina Sabauda and suspect that it is a spoof or phishing email, here are some things you should check:
• Cantina Sabauda will never ask you to provide personal information by email.
• Cantina Sabauda will never ask you to update your payment information if it is not linked to a Cantina Sabauda order made by you or to the registration form for a Cantina Sabauda service.

• Be sure to check the sender's address and real domain from the email header, depending on the browser/device you are using, by clicking on the sender's name in the "From" field (a malicious person can easily enter a fake name such as "Cantina Sabauda" associated with a fake email address). The emails of Cantina Sabauda always come from an address ending with @cantinasabauda.com (e.g. shipping@cantinasabauda.com, info@cantinasabauda.com, no-reply@cantinasabauda.com).
• Links to legitimate Cantina Sabauda websites start with https://www.cantinasabauda.com. Legitimate Cantina Sabauda websites also have a dot before the words 'cantinasabauda.com', e.g. https://www."qualcosa".cantinasabauda.com or 'something'.cantinasabauda.com.
Note: Never click on a link, never open an attachment, and never reply to an email you suspect to be fraudulent. If you click on a link or button by mistake, before entering any information, check that the web address is a legitimate Cantina Sabauda URL using the suggestions above.
Personal data are stored to enable the continuous use of Cantina Sabauda's services, for as long as necessary to pursue the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. The transaction history is kept so that it is possible to examine the purchases made, repeat the orders and view the addresses designated for receiving the order. Tax and commercial data will be kept in compliance with the applicable laws.
• Cantina Sabauda is committed to protecting the security of personal data during their transmission, using encryption protocols and programmes.

Customer data is an essential part of our business and we will never sell our customers' personal data to third parties.
