In the heart of Grande Champagne, in the municipality of Juillac-le-Coq, is the Domaine de la Pouyade which has been owned by the Fillioux family since 1894. Grande Champagne is the most central of the six AOC Cognac crus; favored for its geographical position, the mild climate and the peculiar composition of the soil; offers the most prized cognacs of the denomination: of great finesse, full and soft, with a rich bouquet and a particular aptitude for aging. Thanks to the strategic position of the vineyards, the cognacs of the Jean Fillioux winery are of excellent quality and stand out for their freshness, elegance, complexity, aromatic persistence and power. Tasting Notes: Amber in color. It generously gives the nose noble aromas characterized by candied hints, aromas of orange, quince and pear. Sweet spicy and vanilla nuances also emerge. On the palate it is particularly pure and immediate. The length is nothing short of astonishing.
