Tasting Notes: Bright colour, full and balanced. It expresses notes of spring flowers and scents of lilac and jasmine. It has hints of ripe fruit, raisins, banana, melon and dried fruits, with spicy nuances of anise and cumin. The fruit prevails in the mouth and the taste is strong, sweet and subtle.

The Distillery: Jean Fillioux is an independent brand currently run by a father and son team, Pascal and Christophe. Every step of the creative process is controlled by Christophe himself, who controls the quality of every single aspect of Cognac production, from harvesting the Ugni Blanc grapes on the 63-acre estate to bottling the beautifully blended Cognacs, ready to be enjoyed by the discerning drinkers from all over the planet. His father, Pascal, has been called the "Wizard of Aromas" by many others in the region. Pascal's attention to detail is evident with the Cep d'Or XO selection, which boasts a wonderful floral bouquet that can only be achieved using grapes grown in Grande Champagne. Covering 50 hectares in the heart of Grande Champagne, Jean Fillioux Cognac is an independent, family-run company that has been producing high-quality eaux-de-vie for five generations. Proud of his traditional methods, current owner Christophe Fillioux is dedicated to producing high-quality, excellent yet accessible Grande Champagne Cognacs in limited quantities.
