Tasting Notes: Crystal clear and transparent to the eye. The nose is delicate and composed, characterized by hints of agave, spices and dried plums. The sip, round and velvety, has excellent balance and good persistence. The aftertaste is pleasant.

It was in fact 1758, when Jose Antonio Cuervo Jalisco, Mexico, received authorization to produce Tequila from Ferdinand VI, King of Spain. Subsequently, 1800 is famously known as the year in which Tequila first began to be successfully aged in oak barrels. “1800”, however, is also one of the main reference brands when talking about, precisely, of Tequila. Mexican brand owned by the Beckmann family, Tequila 1800 is produced using exclusively 100% blue agave, and then bottled in Jalisco. Originally known as Tequila Cuervo, what is now Tequila 1800 was first released in 1975, with the premium version. It is in this way that what seems to be a long dream, which began way back in 1758, continues today. A dream always made of the values mentioned at the beginning: passion, work, honesty. A dream that is embodied in the iconic trapezoidal bottle, which recalls the centuries-old stone pyramids built by the Maya throughout Mexico.
