Barley, in particular, has been produced with great care for 6 generations by the farmers of the Finnish town of Koskenkorva. Koskenkorva Vodka is produced through a continuous distillation process starting from barley and the only added ingredient is pure spring water. This creates an extremely smooth, non-GMO, vegan and gluten-free vodka, perfect for mixing in combination with ginger beer.

Distillery: The farmers of the Finnish town of Koskenkorva are honest and hard-working people. They have been the backbone of Koskenkorva Vodka for six decades and most of them have been working as farmers for many generations. The barley in Koskenkorva is one of a kind and Saana and Elmeri, the two varieties present, are the two types of barley grown most northerly in the world. The long days of the summer season in which barley grows at its best, allow for a large harvest in autumn. The water used in distillation is one of the purest in the world. It is filtered every day through the ridges of the Salpausselkä and all that needs to be done is to filter out the leaves and branches carried by the current.
