The Distillery: Founded by former software developer Paul Bowler from his home in central Winchester, Winchester Distillery and Twisted Nose Gin launched in 2014. After outgrowing the space available at his home, Paul moved to a dedicated distillery site in Winchester, which now houses a 150-liter distillery, a bain-marie still, and a 500-liter iStill for the production of vodka, rum, and whisky. Twisted Nose Gin uniquely features watercress as a botanical feature, with Hampshire being famous for its cultivation, and the name comes from the Latin name for watercress (Nasus Turtus), which translates to Twisted Nose.
