 The Cooperative: I Ciliegi Selvatici was founded in 2011 in the province of Cuneo. The Cooperative's goal is to integrate people with disabilities into the agricultural workforce, facilitating their socialization, learning, and skill development, thereby fostering social cohesion and improving their quality of life. The spaces consist of a mountainous plot at 1,800 meters above sea level, covering approximately 14 hectares in the municipality of Canosio, used for growing genepy, edelweiss, and various medicinal herbs. A hilly plot of approximately 4 hectares in the municipality of Manta is used for growing fruit and vegetables; and a laboratory for processing agricultural products in Verzuolo.
