Tequila de Agave Anejo Agave - Don Julio 1942
Don Julio 1942 Añejo is a tequila produced in small batches that rests in oak barrels for at least 2 and a half years and is intended as a tribute to Julio Gonzales, founder of the company, who began producing tequila in 1942. Every aspect is attention to the smallest details, starting from the bottle, extremely elongated, which recalls the shape of the stills where tequila is produced, very narrow and tall, up to the explosion of taste, intense and honeyed, totally unusual, different and new which it totally undermines the concept of tequila.
Type: Tequila
Origin: Mexico

The Distillery: Don Julio Gonzales began producing tequila in 1942, when he opened his own distillery in Mexico. Initially the production was just enough to satisfy friends and acquaintances. But the quality of his products began to gain ground, becoming more and more esteemed throughout Mexico, to the point of being, today, among the best known in the state. Don Julio bases all its work on quality. The choice to produce tequila with only 100% agave distillate, together with the care with which the cultivation and harvesting of the plants takes place, up to the care in the barrels for aging, make it one of the best tequila distilleries in the world.
