Tequila Blanco de Agave Sangre de Vida - La Cofradia
 
Sangre de Vida tequila is produced by slow roasting agave hearts in stone-walled brick ovens. This centuries-old art of slow cooking is followed by cooling, crushing, and finally pressing the hearts into a mash (sweet juice), which then ferments for five days. It is then slowly distilled three times and redistilled in small stills with even more heat, to remove impurities and bring out the best flavor of the agave. Made from 100% Webber blue agave. What makes this tequila even more unmissable is the original heart-shaped bottle.

Tasting Notes: Light color, lush aroma with notes of white flowers, lemon, spicy agave, ripe banana, fresh mint, anise and pepper. Balanced and fruity taste, with notes of lemon, agave, and intense spices.
 
Distillery: Tequila Blanco El Corazon from the Sangre de Vida distillery was born in the Jalisco region, located in the western area of the country, near the coast of the Pacific Ocean. It is an area made up of a plateau, with altitudes between 1500 and 2000 meters above sea level, characterized by the presence of soils of very ancient volcanic origin, composed of sands and clays, very rich in mineral substances. The mild and dry climate favors the cultivation of agave, which for centuries has found in Jalisco its ideal land for thriving. For the production of Tequila, only blue agave plants are used, also known as Weber, in homage to the German botanist who selected it at the end of the nineteenth century. Only plants that have reached full vegetative maturity are used for processing. After cutting all the leaves, the heart of the plant is taken, the famous piña, which is cooked in traditional brick ovens. This is followed by the fermentation process and then distillation.
