Tennessee Whisky Red Dog Saloon - Jack Daniel's
This is a special edition of the classic Old N°7, entirely dedicated to the first bar owned by Mr. Jack Daniel. According to legend, the Red Dog Saloon was located right in the center of Lynchburg's main square, home to the historic Distillery, the oldest registered in the United States, which produces every drop of Jack Daniel's found anywhere in the world. Thanks to this special bottle, Jack Daniel's thus recalls the days when in Lynchburg there were two places overlooking its small central square, the White Rabbit Saloon and the Red Dog Saloon. Two important realities wanted by Mr. Jack and founded in 1892, designed to strengthen the spirit of the community and entered into legend: in November 1892, in fact, a great fire hit Lynchburg damaging a good part of the city, but the White Rabbit and the Red Dog was not harmed.

The Distillery: The headquarters of the US distillery is in Lynchburg, a small town located in Moore County, and the history of this brand is inextricably linked to the man who originally gave it its name. Jack Daniel, born in 1850 in Tennessee to British immigrants, was passionate about distilling from an early age. At less than 16 years old Jack became the owner of the first distillery, experimenting with the first experiments in which corn, rye and barley represented the basis of the first whiskeys produced at the time. Jack immediately understood that he was predestined, and the proof of this came when, after several attempts, he managed to invent a production method which, even today, is the basis of the difference between the Whiskeys produced in Tennessee and all the others made on American soil: essentially, after having applied the classic "sour mash", Jack decided to carry out - at the end of the production process - the filtration of the Whiskey through hard maple carbon, a peculiarity that makes the distillate round and soft even before the subsequent ones refinement steps in wood. Jack Daniel died in 1911, leaving behind a story destined to continue with the subsequent acquisitions of the distillery between different groups, arriving today, after more than 100 years, as a brand of absolute success and commercial value. Each bottle carries within itself the intrinsic value of an incredible story, renewing Jack's love for Tennessee Whisky.
