Sfursat di Valtellina Fruttaio Ca Rizzieri DOCG - Rainoldi Winery
The bunches of Rainoldi's Sforzato della Valtellina "Fruttaio" are left to dry on racks at "Cà Rizzieri," Rainoldi's highest drying room, located 500 meters above sea level. Here, the grapes benefit from a dry, breezy climate, ideal for the grapes' natural drying process. Fermentation and maturation take place in new French "Allier" oak barriques for 15 months, followed by bottle aging for over 12 months.

The Winery: Founded in 1925 by the current owner's grandfather, the "Aldo Rainoldi" winery produces grapes from its own vineyards, as well as from a dense network of small-scale winemakers, constantly monitored by trusted technicians—an essential prerequisite for offering a range that encompasses all the nuances of Valtellina. Starting with exceptional raw materials, the winery produces wines of the highest quality from spectacular locations, characterized by typical terraced vineyards that force man to engage with nature and, at the same time, repay all his hard work with unique wines.
