The intense gold-colored blend represents the pleasure of rum of the highest class.
It is a molasses rum initially stored in Caribbean oak barrels and changed again before bottling. Subsequent storage took place in old French Sauternes wine barrels from the Chateau Lafon winery. The exclusivity of the AH Riise Non Plus Ultra Ambre D'Or is also reflected in its strict limitation: 12,000 bottles were bottled for rum enthusiasts around the world.

The Distillery: A.H. Riise is located on the island of St. Thomas, an American virgin island in the Caribbean. Before this island became an American territory, it was a Danish colony. The pharmacist Albert Heinrich was not only authorized to open a pharmacy around 1840, but also to produce alcohol. His production is based on years of experience, carefully selected spices and long aging in charred oak barrels.
