From the Dominican Republic, Exquisito is the highest expression of the family's Rums, defined by many international guides and magazines as "one of the greatest Rums in history". These are Solera Vintage Rum, handcrafted in very small batches, while the aging took place in American and French oak barrels. A grandiose rum, of rare elegance and complexity, harmonious and profound, powerful and sweet at the same time, enveloping and persistent. The Distillery: The latest addition to the Oliver family, launched only in 2013, Exquisito represents the highest expression of Oliver Rums, defined by the Olivers themselves as "the greatest Rum ever produced by the Oliver family", already defined by many international guides and magazines as " one of the greatest Rums in history”. These are Solera Vintage Rum handcrafted in very small batches, according to the best tradition of Casa Oliver. It starts with a particular selection of the distillate. One of the peculiarities of the Oliver Distillery is that it uses 5 different types of distillers, in this way it is able to obtain at least 5 different basic alcohols. The peculiarity of this rum is that in the solera there are alcohol obtained from different distillation processes, in this way the Oliver family has managed to take the best of each type of alcohol and combine them together in a complex and surprising product. Aging took place in American and French oak barrels. The concept of Solera Vintage is a very original concept and the result of the brilliant intuition of the Oliver Family: the Solera was filled and left there to rest for years, decades, up to the present day to give life to the greatest of Casa Oliver Rums. Only very small batches are taken, so as to allow the younger Rum added to begin a long and slow aging process. All to create the magic of a grandiose, solemn Rum of rare elegance and complexity. It has everything that a great Rum should have: harmony, balance, depth. Powerful and sweet at the same time, full-bodied and delicious, enveloping and persistent.
