Tasting Notes: Its color is straw yellow, with greenish highlights. On the nose, aromas of fresh fruit, such as peach, apple, and banana, are evident. It doesn't present itself as a simple wine, but upon tasting, one senses the complexity of its structure. Indeed, it imparts freshness, thanks to its soft acidity, yet remains harmonious and sensual on the palate.
Pairings: It is the ideal companion to fish dishes, fresh appetizers and aperitifs, but it is also an excellent pairing for vegetable dishes, white meats and cheeses.
The Winery: A story that began in 1862 in Canale. The Rabino family's origins date back to the Middle Ages. Their settlement in the Roero region, on the same lands still owned by the family today, followed their expulsion from the Alta Langa region due to frequent barbarian invasions. Wine production began in the mid-19th century with a small batch reserved for family and friends: a passion that still didn't generate income. Luigi Rabino, the current owner's grandfather, and his subsequent descendants then marketed the wines. Many of the varieties still produced today were bottled even before the two world wars. Sharing, overcoming difficult historical moments in the 20th century, and increased demand have made the winery a Roero winery with a diversified and almost fully self-sustaining production.
