Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC - Cantina San Giacomo
Pure Montepulciano d'Abruzzo grapes, a vine located in the hills in the province of Chieti. The destemmed bunches, after the addition of selected yeasts, are left to ferment in stainless steel tanks; the floating cap created by the peels is kept continuously wet. At the end of fermentation, after 8 days, the spraying of the skins continues for another 8-10 days, in order to extract all the useful substances. The refinement takes place in stainless steel tanks for 8 months.

The Cellar: Cantina San Giacomo is located between the sea of the Costa dei Trabocchi and the hills; a completely optimal setting for the perfect exposure of its vineyards and for the benefits that the sea brings to the quality of the wines. The aromatic fragrances of the full-bodied Reds and the delicate notes of the Whites come from the peculiarities of this territory. The winery's vineyards are located in the territory of Rocca San Giovanni and in the neighboring municipalities, in the province of Chieti. For years the winery has obtained the necessary certification to produce organic wine, the cultivation of which it has encouraged.
