Tasting Notes: Ruby red with brilliant reflections. Notes of fresh red fruit such as currant, cherry and blackcurrant immediately emerge on the nose. The entry is clear and dynamic with aromas of fruit, spices, cedar and slightly peppery liquorice. Overall it is fine and balanced without being too marked by wood notes. The tannins, elegant and silky, refer to its margalaise origin.
Pairings: Excellent with grilled red meats and milky goat.
The Cellar: André Lurton's family is the largest vineyard owners in Bordeaux. Each Château has its own cellar and vineyards. The company produces exceptional wines respecting the typical nature of the territory and of great quality, elaborated according to traditional methods, but with extremely modern winemaking structures.
