Langhe Chardonnay Sofia DOC - Molino

On the slopes of the Ausario hill, in a natural amphitheater, this Chardonnay vineyard has stood since 1995. The clayey soil combined with a medium hill altitude and a fresh cardinal slope give our Chardonnay; body, flavor, minerality, good acidity and elegant aromas, complexed by a brief aging in barrique and tonneau. Sofia Chardonnay was produced in honor of two great arts: Oenology and Cinema.

Tasting Notes: In the glass it develops an intense yellow color with light greenish nuances. Elegant and intense aromas with nuances of exotic fruit, notes of pineapple and yellow peach, mitigated by a veil of vanilla and amber tobacco. On the palate it presents itself with good acidity and a rich and enveloping body in a persuasive extractive harmony.

Pairings: Excellent with grilled or baked fish, shellfish and spiced white meats.

The Cellar: Agricola Molino was founded in 1991, when Virginio Molino purchased a small piece of land in Treiso and a wine-making room together with his children.
