 Tasting Notes: Transparent and crystalline, the nose presents a varied blend of aromas ranging from citrus to spice, including aromatic herbs, with a touch of balsamic. The palate is smooth, quite fresh with a mentholated note and rich in hints of oriental spices, with a very long and persistent finish.
 
 
 The Distillery: A creator of new recipes, an inventor, an experimenter: PJ dreamed of building his own distillery, but not just any distillery. The location was crucial: it had to be wild, unspoiled, in the heart of rural Ireland. A place of curiosity and inspiration, immersed in nature, found it in the beautiful village of Drumshanbo, on the shores of Lough Allen, at the foot of Sliabh an Iarainn, also known as The Iron Mountain. The idea was to create an authentic distillery, based on traditional methods, working with gleaming copper pots and column stills to experiment with wild grains, Irish flora, and exotic botanicals. The Shed's five gleaming copper stills—three for Irish whiskey and two for Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin—and two copper column stills for Sausage Tree Pure Irish Vodka—were specially crafted by Arnold Holstein in Germany and brought to Drumshanbo, where PJ began his quest to make the ordinary extraordinary. Here, in the heart of rural Ireland, at The Shed Distillery, the curious mind of PJ Rigney combines with the distiller's skill to create smooth, exceptionally high-quality spirits. From whiskey to gin to vodka, each product is born from the desire to express the authentic, wild character of Irish nature, offering an extraordinary harmony of flavors.
