Grand Armagnac VSOP - Maison Janneau
From the slow and continuous distillation of white wines produced in the Ténarèze region of France, Armagnac Janneau VSOP is born. It is the result of a blend of eaux-de-vie of varying ages, the youngest of which has been aged for seven years in oak barrels. Armagnac is the oldest eaux-de-vie in the world, renowned since the Middle Ages for its supposedly therapeutic properties. The best time to appreciate a good Armagnac is at the end of a meal, sipping it in small, continuous sips to appreciate the aromatic sensations it conveys.

The Distillery: The oldest of the great Armagnac houses gives us Janneau Grand Armagnac VSOP, the result of a blend of eaux-de-vie of different ages, the youngest of which has been aged for seven years in oak barrels. Grand Armagnac VSOP is a blend of spirits obtained from Baco, Ugni Blanc, and Folle Blanche grapes grown in the Bas Armagnac and Ténarèze regions. Distillation is carried out by combining single and double distillation methods. The result is a smooth and very well-structured Armagnac. Poured into an elegant large balloon bottle, it is best to let it aerate for at least 5 to 10 minutes before appreciating its aromatic complexity.
