The Gran Corte Flechas De Los Andes comes from the winery of the same name, founded by the famous French winery Baron Edmond de Rothschild. The wine lands of the Flechas de los Andes bodega are located in Mendoza, Argentina. Gran Corte Flechas De Los Andes comes from a blend made with 60% Malbec grapes, 30% Syrah grapes and 10% Cabernet Franc. The owned vineyards are located high up, 1,000 meters above sea level, in a cool and temperate place, surrounded by the splendid Andes mountain range. The harvest is done by hand, the slow fermentation is controlled in stainless steel tanks. It ages for 18 months in new French oak barriques. This important red wine, with a strong personality, is intense and powerful, with rich fruits, spicy and very elegant. It combines immediate drinkability with great gustatory power and an equally important aging potential, which has already partially taken place.

The Winery: Flechas de Los Andes was born from the partnership between Baron Benjamin de Rothschild and Monsieur Laurent Dessault and is the result of the search for a large territory at the foot of the Andes. From this unique territory, which benefits from a dry and temperate climate, two wines are born: Gran Corte, a great blended wine and Gran Malbec, an Argentine Malbec. Flechas has vines that extend over more than a hundred hectares. Here Malbec reigns accompanied by Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. Thanks to the dry climate of Mendoza, Malbec seems to have found a privileged place of expression on this territory of pebbles and alluvial stones. Great care is given to the vines with a double objective: to achieve a high level of quality and respect the environment.
