The Distillery: Saigon Baigur Gin is the first premium dry gin online produced in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, using artisanal methods and traditional copper pot still distillation, imported directly from Europe. The distillery is located in District 9, the city's former most populous urban district, home to a large local market, where colors, aromas, and flavors blend seamlessly with breathtaking structures, architecture, and monuments. The city is located on the west bank of the Saigon River and over the years has become an important economic, tourist, scientific, and technological hub. Thanks to this fascinating blend of tradition and innovation, after two years of experimentation, Saigon Baigur Gin was born, a spirit that combines copper pot still distillation with the exotic aromas and flavors typical of Southeast Asia. It's also the result of a blend of classic ingredients like juniper, coriander, and angelica, along with select local botanicals such as Saigon cinnamon, Buddha's hand (a highly fragrant citrus fruit), black and green cardamom, lemongrass, fennel seeds, lime, and Bird's Eye Chili (a Vietnamese chili pepper variety). Successful, fresh, clean, and balanced, Saigon Baigur Gin evokes a journey through Vietnam and its surrounding areas, where each ingredient contributes its own unique flavor to create a modern and engaging spirit, perfect for pairing with quality tonic water to enhance the aromas and flavors of the region.
