Gin London Dry - The King of Soho

Gin London Dry - The King of Soho

Gin produced in London, according to the London Dry Gin method with the use of 12 botanicals that give it a strong personality: juniper, coriander, citrus fruits, grapefruit peel, angelica root and cassia. It stands out for its crystalline color and its delicate, clean aromas. Following the classic notes of juniper we find hints of pine and fresh citrus notes; then followed by grapefruit and a delicate spice. In the mouth this gin is full-bodied and soft with a fresh citrus and herbaceous note. With a soft structure and a defined character, it is subjected to 4 distillations; water, grain and herbs spend a whole night in maceration, allowing the release of the flavors that characterize The Soho Gin.

Tasting Notes: The King of Soho Gin has a transparent and crystalline appearance. The sense of smell is characterized by the intense notes of juniper, coriander, Scots pine, grapefruit peel, angelica root and cassia donated by the botanicals used in the manufacturing process. The taste is fresh and full-bodied, with pleasant softness and a persistent aromatic and slightly spicy finish.

Cocktail: The manufacturer's advice is to use this distillate to make a delicious Gin and Tonic garnished with a slice of pink grapefruit.

The Distillery: The Gin of the English brand The King of Soho is a spirit with an extrovert and lively personality produced in London using traditional methods. The characteristic and colorful packaging of the bottle recalls the eccentric character of the London neighborhood of Soho. In fact, The King of Soho gin wants to pay homage to Paul Raymond, father of co-founder Howard, who used to perform in Soho in daring shows that led him to dominate the London entertainment scene for a period. Despite bearing the name of the British capital, the London Dry Gin type can be produced anywhere in the world as it is a high quality production style and not a geographical indication. The King of Soho Gin is a London Dry Gin elaborated in the heart of London starting from the combination of at least 12 different botanicals, including grapefruit, sweet orange peel, cassia, chamomile, coriander, liquorice and the inevitable juniper. The ingredients are distilled 5 times according to traditional methods and the gin is finally bottled in recyclable and sustainable packaging. During the manufacturing process, the use of artificial flavors is excluded.
