Corn Whisky 3 Years - Platte Valley
Cornwhiskys are simple, sweet and oily. Soft taste and with a sweetness characteristic only of corn. There can be peppery and fruity aromas, especially when matured in oak for a longer period of time. McCormick is based in Weston, Missouri and produces a wide range of spirits. His whiskey distillery was located in Illinois and was called Pekin, the plate valley was originally burned and you could even see it on the clay jugs.

Tasting Notes: Amber colour. Young aroma with predominant hints of corn and butter and hints of powdered milk. Sweet and slightly oily flavor with notes of corn, caramel, butter and hints of almonds. Medium-long finish, sweet and with notes of corn.
The Distillery: McCormick Distilling was born in 1856 with the name of Holladay Distillery, McCormick Distilling has gone through numerous management changes over the centuries, which brought it to 1976, the year in which it was included in the National Register of Historic Sites, being the oldest distillery still active and operating in its place of origin. Corn whiskey is a whiskey with at least 80% corn content in the mash. Whiskey can be distilled to a maximum of 80% and must be stored for at least two years in fresh oak barrels or used non-carbonated.
