Confettura di Pesche 200g - I Ciliegi Selvatici

200g Jar - Piedmont - Ingredients: Peaches, sugar - I Ciliegi Selvatici was founded in 2011 in the province of Cuneo, following a meeting between the Airone Association of Manta, the Scout Agesci group of Saluzzo, and several parents of children with disabilities. The cooperative's goal is to integrate disabled people into the agricultural sector, facilitating their socialization, learning, and development of skills, thus fostering social cohesion and improving their quality of life. The goal is to create, through a series of integrated services, a professional opportunity for young adults with disabilities in the area, empowering them to increase their independence and relieving their families without becoming an unbearable burden. The name originates from Canosio, 1,800 meters above sea level (Val Maira, Piedmont): here, wild cherry trees grow, welcoming the warm season with the freshness and harmony of their blossoms; In Canosio, cherries develop later than the usual ripening cycle. This has created a parallel with the growth and development of our children: they mature more slowly, but they too achieve their goals! This is how the I Ciliegi Selvatici Social Agricultural Cooperative was born. Integration activities are carried out in the province of Cuneo, at the sites of Canosio (Alta Valle Maira) and Santa Brigida (Municipality of Manta), where the Cooperative has several hectares of land dedicated to growing berries and medicinal plants. Furthermore, in the last year, the project has further expanded thanks to the establishment and opening of an agricultural product processing laboratory in the municipality of Verzuolo, where children with social, physical, and mental disabilities actively participate and can enhance their social and work experiences. Over the years, the Cooperative has developed a productive supply chain that begins with cultivation and, through processing and manufacturing, has led to the marketing of numerous food and manufactured products. The Spaces: A mountainous plot of approximately 14 hectares in the Municipality of Canosio, at 1,800 meters above sea level, used for growing genepy, edelweiss, and medicinal herbs. A hilly plot of approximately 4 hectares in the Municipality of Manta, used for growing strawberries, berries in general, and vegetables. A laboratory processing agricultural products, producing jams, juices, extracts, biscuits, and jarred vegetables. Adjacent to the point of sale.
