The quality of Hine Cognac is so highly regarded that it was even accepted as the sole supplier of cognac by Queen Elizabeth II of England. Hine strictly and constantly controls the quality of the cognac and has won more than 30 medals in the last five years. Hine Rare VSOP Fine Champagne Cognac is made up of over 20 excellent eaux-de-vie from Grande and Petite Champagne.

Tasting Notes: Amber in color, a bouquet of aromas of toasted nectarines, ripe apricots and succulent melon inspire the first persistent sip, while orange resin, oak and vanilla give it a sensation of maturity, on the palate it beautifully expresses the characteristic fruity flavors of white wines produced from Charente vines. Ginger, chocolate, orange and oak slowly fade into a dried fruit finish.
 
The Distillery: Located in the heart of Grande Champagne, the premium wine area of the Cognac region, the Hine house has been producing some of the finest Cognacs for six generations, when it was better known as T Hine & Co Cognac. The estate boasts an exceptional 173 acres of vineyards and the house has a very special tradition of producing relatively small quantities, but to a very high standard of quality. One of their trademarks is to store vintage barrels in damp cellars in Bristol, England. In this way, Thomas Hine Cognac undergoes a unique and different aging process due to the humidity of the seaside city, which differs somewhat from that of the southwestern coast of France.
