Chassagne Montrachet AOC - Domaine Chanson
 
This Chassagne Montrachet from Domaine Chanson comes from three vineyard plots managed by three trusted vignerons, in the heart of Chassagne Montrachet. The Chardonnay vines, oriented to the south, south/east, were harvested by hand and vinified after light pressing and following fermentation the wine underwent aging for 10-14 months in oak barrels.

Tasting Notes: It has an intense and bright straw yellow color. The nose opens with floral notes, hints of citrus and white pulp fruit, a gentle minerality intrigues the senses. On the palate it is fresh and tasty, intense and persistent. Incredible aromas in the mouth.
 
Pairings: To be enjoyed with grilled fish or white meats. Try it with grilled calamari on artichoke cream.
 
The Cellar: During the reign of Louis century. More than two centuries later, the Maison currently has a wine-growing property of around seventy hectares, spread across the best areas classified as "premier cru", both in Beaune and in Savigny and Pernand Vergelesses. Since 1999, the Chanson company has belonged to the Bollinger Champagne group which pursues a policy aimed at obtaining the highest quality in each wine, making use of a large team of experts, capable of making the most of the best terroirs of Burgundy and the grapes from here from. Between the rows, there is always constant and maximum respect for the balance of the environment, nature and ecosystem, and the agronomic standards followed which dedicate careful and obsessive care to each plant; the grapes that are harvested are valuable, pure and concentrated in every single nuance. In the cellar, scrupulously controlling every production step, we never lose sight of the main objective, aimed at enhancing everything that the season and the territory have been capable of expressing in the fruit. The bottles that refer to the Domaine Chanson are synonymous with the highest oenological excellence of Burgundy and beyond.
