Launched in 1993 with the 1990 harvest, Bin 407 is the result of the growing availability of high-quality Cabernet Sauvignon. Inspired by the famous Bin 707, Bin 407 offers all the pleasantness of this varietal and all its approachability, without sacrificing structure and depth.

Tasting Notes: Intense ruby red color. On the nose there are all the elements of this varietal: dried herbs, tobacco, mint, rosemary and thyme. Vegetable flavor, on a base of ground coffee powder are the first two descriptor flavours; then blackcurrant, mulberry, small red fruits. Clean and long finish, well blended with pleasant tannins.
Pairings: Perfect with red meat dishes, game, mature cheeses and spicy dishes. In fact, wild boar, roe deer and pheasant enrich the flavors of this wine, as do heavier dishes such as roasts and braised meats.
The Cellar: It took the Coppolas more than twenty years to put back together all the original vineyards, which had been planted on the lands of the Napa Valley Château way back in 1882. Alongside the recovery work on the buildings and the cellar, work was started at the same time a long process of renewal of the vineyards planted in the last century, with which we tried to maintain the roots of the old vines, safeguarding in particular the most important and historic clones that had arrived from France. Among the rows, there is maximum respect for the balance of nature, environment and ecosystem, and the plants are bred in such a way as to be able to harvest pure, rich and concentrated fruits in all their organoleptic nuances. The first wine was made in 1975 and today, all the company's wines derive from proprietary grapes, are certified organic, and are followed throughout their entire production process. Currently the company takes the name of Rubicon Estate, in honor of the ultra-awarded wine based on the Bordeaux blend according to the now typical tradition of the Napa Valley, which has followed, to be honest without hiding it, the authoritative French productions. In Francis Ford Coppola's cellar, highly computerized mechanisms help to create excellent wines, which at the same time are available on the market at an accessible and truly competitive price. However, despite using the most modern and advanced winemaking technologies, the main objective always remains one and only one, aimed at enhancing and enhancing what the territory and the season have been able to express in the bunches. In this way, a range of labels was born capable of satisfying any palate.
