This Premier Cru Beaune Clos des Mouches Chardonnay from Domaine Chanson is a very pleasant wine, made from pure Chardonnay grapes that grow on stony soil composed of limestone, clay and silica. The vineyard is four and a half hectares large, it is in a hilly and sunny area. The refinement lasts a year or so in oak barrels, in the splendid fifteenth century cellar. A wine to enjoy with your closest friends.

Tasting Notes: In the glass it appears crystalline and of a beautiful golden yellow color. On the nose, fruity notes of citrus and white pulp fruits open the analysis, a delicate floral emerges and, in a second moment, a mineral note. On the palate the wine is fresh and tasty, pleasantly enveloping the mouth and has a medium persistence.
Pairings: To be enjoyed with seafood, with octopus salad, and perhaps to be tried with fried cod morsels.
The Cellar: During the reign of Louis century. More than two centuries later, the Maison currently has a wine-growing property of around seventy hectares, spread across the best areas classified as "premier cru", both in Beaune and in Savigny and Pernand Vergelesses.
