Tasting notes: Straw-white colour with slight foaminess. Fresh fruity bouquet, with distinct floral hints typical of the Muscat grape variety. On the palate it is delicate, slightly mellow, refreshing and sweet.
Pairings: Excellent with fruit tarts, avoiding orange marmalade. Perfect with almond-based cakes and biscuits and with all dried fruit such as Tuscan cantucci. It is a very rich and pleasant wine, with remarkable balance, and is normally paired with the great classic leavened desserts such as Panettone, Colomba and Pandoro.
The Cooperative: The Wild Cherries were born in 2011, in the province of Cuneo. The Cooperative's objective is the employment of disabled people in the agricultural field, facilitating their socialisation, learning abilities, and the development of skills, thereby promoting social cohesion and improving their quality of life. The Spaces, consist of a mountain plot at 1800 m altitude, of about 14 hectares in the municipality of Canosio, used for the cultivation of genepy, edelweiss and various medicinal herbs. A hilly plot of about 4 hectares in the municipality of Manta, used for the cultivation of fruit and vegetables; workshop with processing of agricultural products in Verzuolo.
