GRAPPA & EAU DE VIE

This distillate was born in the twelfth century thanks to alchemists, who discovered the technique of distilling pomace for medical and curative purposes. 
Grappa is a distillate of grape, obtained from grapes produced, vinified and distilled exclusively in Italy or Italian Switzerland.The term "grappa" is a protected geographical indication IGP of Italy, according to law EC 110/2008-all.III. No other country may use this designation. In France is called "Eau De Vie".
