Dry Gin - Hanami
 
Hanami Dry Gin comes from the Netherlands and is inspired by Japan. It is made using a combination of nine botanicals, along with Japanese cherry blossom essence. The name comes from a tradition in Japan, where people gather to enjoy the beauty of cherry blossoms as spring begins to arrive.

Tasting Notes: Light color, floral bouquet, fruity, juniper, lavender, coriander. With an aromatic, soft, floral taste, notes of summer fruits. Persistent finish with hints of litchi and lemongrass.
 
Cocktail: For a perfect Gin Tonic we recommend a Mediterranean tonic water. Garnish with mandarin or orange peel and a few peppercorns.
 
The Distillery: Founded in 1837 by the Melchers family who have since built their distillation tradition. The distillery began as a small family business but quickly grew its activities in the spirits trade to become one of the most innovative and important producers and exporters of quality Dutch spirits. When taken over in 1975 by the Vonk family, the distillery expanded to become a large supplier of beverages and spirits with markets in many foreign countries, supplying these markets with products such as Whisky, Vodka, Brandy, Rum, Liqueurs and Creams.
