Cognac Noces de Diamant - Hardy
Hardy's premium, well-aged Cognac, the Hardy Noces de Diamant Cognac It's as extraordinary as its name suggests. Aged for at least 60 years in Limousin oak barrels, it features a complex blend with each passing decade. For this reason, it earns its title as a Prestige Cognac, and arrives in an incredible crystal decanter that will make it the center of attention wherever you place it. With eaux-de-vie aged thirty, forty, fifty, and more years, it's a fitting and luxurious celebration of the passing of time and careful maturation. The result is a rich, fruity, and leathery Cognac. All the precious eaux-de-vie come from the terroir of Grande Champagne, also known as Premier Cru. The Noces de Diamant Cognac 70cl is part of the Prestige collection of this coveted Cognac house. Grande Champagne is famous for its soil composition, which is high in chalk. The fine texture and easy drainage ensure the vines are constantly hydrated and the eaux-de-vie is particularly fine. The Cognac Noces de Diamant is a unique expression of this vintage. Geologically, the area is part of the Aquitaine Basin and is composed of diverse marine sedimentary and fossil deposits. The unique composition of these deposits, dating back to the Jurassic period, approximately 200 million years ago, has allowed for the refined and floral eaux-de-vie of Hardy Noces de Diamant.

Tasting Notes: Deep crimson and amber in color. On the nose, Charentais rancio, due to the slow aging of the tannins from the oak barrel. Warm notes of cinnamon and prune. On the palate, notes of bitter and spicy orange dominate without being overbearing, along with a hint of ginger. A long finish, a sign of an excellent Premier Cru blend. The finish takes us on a powerful journey of spices, with notes of aged leather and saffron. A velvety texture.
The Distillery: With a history dating back to 1863, Cognac Hardy is renowned for its quality cognacs and traditional production methods. Passed down through generations, this family-run cognac house, recognizable by its rooster logo, was one of the first to embrace the benefits of a global distribution network. Thanks to an English entrepreneur's love for the Charentaise countryside of France, Cognac Hardy boasts a 150-year history of supplying a range of cognacs to the four corners of the globe.
