Champagne Brut Belle Epoque AOC - Perrier-Jouët
One of the finest vintages ever for Perrier-Jouët's iconic vintage. The fruit of a warm summer that offset an unpredictable and rainy spring in the vineyard, it boasts prodigious balance and a remarkable exuberance, thanks in particular to a prominent Pinot Noir. Extraordinarily fresh, it immediately offers all the elegant roundness you expect from a prestige cuvée, plus the unmistakable signature of the House: white flowers, spices, and marzipan. Another top-notch Champagne, following the highly celebrated 2008.

Citrus fruits—white peach, pear, and grapefruit—combine with pineapple and spring flowers, marzipan, and sweet spices to create a unique and delicate bouquet. The palate is markedly mineral yet rounded and silky, with an elegant, long finish.
Pairings: Pairs well with fish, shellfish, or white meat. Enjoy it with Catalan-style lobster.
The Cellar: Two centuries of tradition constitute a precious legacy, represented by a true artisanal savoir-faire that has been passed down from generation to generation since 1811. It was precisely on this date that the husband and wife team of Pierre-Nicolas Perrier and Adèle Jouët founded Maison Perrier-Jouët, which today boasts 65 hectares of vineyards, almost all of which are classified at the top of the Grand Cru scale. A pioneer in traceability and the fight against counterfeiting, Maison Perrier-Jouët was the first winery to include the vintage year on its vintage bottles. Among the rows, careful and far-sighted choices are all aimed at obtaining fine and excellent grapes, and the fruit harvested in the five main crus of what is known as the "magic triangle of Champagne"—composed of Cramant, Avize, Mailly, Aÿ, and Dizy—is consistently present in all of the house's cuvées. Grapes of Chardonnay with generous and aromatic aromas, followed by Pinot Noir, fresh and delicate, and finally Pinot Meunier, also generous and fruity, are processed in the cellar without taking shortcuts, pursuing the highest level of quality without ever compromising. It all comes from knowledge passed down over time and in the silence of the cellars, where the cellar masters have cultivated and enhanced their significant expertise. This expertise, as if that weren't enough, is often enriched and embellished by internationally renowned artists who, since 1902, have decorated the bottles containing the house's most important cuvées with their works, almost as if to celebrate the tasting of Champagne in a sort of union that unites art, poetry, and the beauty of everyday life.
